Virginia class fast attack submarine USS Delaware (SSN 791) arrived in Grøtsund, Norway, for a routine port visit, Sept. 1, 2026.

Sailors assigned to, Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Delaware (SSN 791), toss heaving lines to shore personnel during a scheduled port visit near Tromsø, Sept. 1, 2026. Delaware is deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support the warfighting effectiveness, lethality, and readiness of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa and defend U.S., Allied, and partner interests in the region.
