CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti – The Navy’s Forward Deployable Preventive Medicine Unit’s (FDPMU) play a vital role in sustaining mission readiness across the globe.

Forward Deployable Preventive Medicine Unit (FDPMU) Industrial Hygiene component team members conducted air quality and lead exposure assessments at Camp Lemonnier’s indoor shooting range, enabling its safe recertification and restoring a key readiness asset that supports 4,000 joint personnel. Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Alexsandria Guerrero carefully prepared wipe samples to test for lead contamination at the Milo Range indoor shooting range.
