Joint NPS-MCU Hackathon Advances AI Prototypes for Military Education

MONTEREY, Calif. – The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and Marine Corps University (MCU) concluded the Joint MCU-NPS AI Learning Initiatives Hackathon Sept. 18 after four days of developing and testing artificial intelligence (AI) prototypes designed to address challenges in military education and training. 

One of five Naval Postgraduate School teams participating in the Joint MCU-NPS AI Learning Initiatives Hackathon briefs a panel of judges on the results of four days of testing and development, Sept. 18. Winning teams will continue to refine, test and evaluate their ideas, with potential follow-on development supported by NPS student research, Marine Corps digital transformation teams and the Marine Corps Software Factory.
