Greatest Lady of the Seas, USS Nantucket Commissions

BOSTON, Mass. — The U.S. Navy commissioned its newest Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Nantucket (LCS 27) November 16, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts. To honor naval history, Nantucket became the newest ship in the fleet while moored stern-to-stern with USS Constitution, the U.S. Navy’s oldest commissioned ship.
